Any AA meeting that lasts up to 60 minutes is a regular AA meeting. A
meeting that lasts over 60 minutes turns into a cult, and I leave.
The exception are meetings in the U.K., which typically last 2 hours. I
wouldn't want to attend one and hear long winded bullshit about frivolities
to salvage some sick bastard's ego all night.
People who talk unreasonably long are offensive and rude to the rest of the
members who have yet to share. They eat up all the time and the remaining
people have no time left to share because of their bigotry and diarrhea of
the mouth.
